Hand Painted Country Hamptons Kitchen Cabinets
The Werombi Kitchen Project
This Werombi kitchen features beautifully crafted cabinetry finished with a bespoke hand painted white palette. Our team carefully applied the paint finish to enhance the elegant provincial style cabinetry and decorative detailing throughout the kitchen. The hand painted finish highlights the craftsmanship of the joinery while creating a soft and refined look that complements the classic country aesthetic, resulting in a timeless and elegant kitchen design that feels both fresh and inviting.
The Cabinet Finish
The cabinetry was finished using a carefully selected white palette to achieve a soft antique appearance. Dulux Domino was chosen as the base tone and paired with Dulux Lexicon Quarter to create a balanced contrast within the cabinetry finish. This colour combination works beautifully with provincial style kitchens, allowing the detailed joinery profiles and decorative mouldings to stand out while maintaining a light, classic aesthetic.
The Hand Painting Process
To achieve the antique finish, a base coat of Dulux Domino was first applied before selected areas were lightly sanded back to reveal subtle depth within the cabinetry. Dulux Lexicon Quarter was then carefully applied over the surface, creating a layered hand painted effect that softly highlights the edges and detailing of the doors and panels. The finish was then sealed with a protective polyurethane coating, ensuring a durable surface while preserving the character and depth of the antique paint finish.
